Peacefully, with his wife and family by his side, on Friday, May 13, 2022, at 83 years of age. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Robertson) of 59 years. Loving Dad to David (Sylvie). Cherished Grandpa to Christopher (Val) and Samantha (Brett). Predeceased by his parents Russell and Anna and his brother Wendell. Brother of Bryan, Heather Martin, Ellen Leach (Robert) and Floyd (Mary). Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 347 Richmond Road on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 1 p.m. Those attending are required to wear masks. All Saints’ was a very important part of Doug’s life as well as participating in the life of Red Pine Camp. Our thanks to the dedicated nursing and medical staff of the Ottawa Hospital and to Dr. Michael Hirsh for his kind care.
