Peacefully in the early morning hours at the Red Oak Retirement Residence on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late William Earl Ellacott and loving mother of the late Stephen and the late Patricia (Tricia). Dear aunt to Margaret Webb, David Webb and Peter Lindsay and special mother-in-law to Hannah Ellacott. Predeceased by her brother Wilfrid and her sisters Eileen and Emily. A special thank you to all the staff at the Red Oak and the Palliative Care Team for the care and kindness given to Dorothy. A family graveside service is planned for the spring of 2021. Arrangements in the care of the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean, ON. In memory of Dorothy, donations to the Cancer Society or the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.
