Doris K. MacVicar (née Dowd)
Peacefully at Granite Ridge, on Saturday, October 25th , 2014 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Sanford MacVicar. Dear mother of Marilyn MacVicar, Lyn Volkmer (Steve) and Lee Garlough (Joel). Proud grandmother to 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Stittsville United Church, 6255 Fernbank Road, Stittsville on Friday, October 31st from 10:00 am until time of service, which well be held at 11:00 am, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
