Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus on Saturday, July 4, 2026, Loving husband to Ruth (neé Henne), and father to Sarah Leyenaar (Matthew), Joshua, and Alex (Lisa). Gramps to Elliott and Anaclara Leyenaar and Shabadoo to Everett and Frankie Bennett. Predeceased by his brothers Richard Bennett, David Bennett (Marjorie) and survived by his sister Sylvia Lewis (Fred). Family will gather for interment at Rideauvale Cemetery, Kars on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
