It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Don. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Watson) for 57 years. Greatly loved father of daughters Christine of Newport Beach, California and Leslie Beckoff (Robert) of El Paso, Texas. Beloved grandfather of granddaughter Jordan Beckoff of El Paso Texas. Son of the late Lyle and Eva Abernethy of Chelsea. Brother of the late Noreen Deacon (late John) and Ruth Weber (Gerhard) of Ocala, Florida. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road, Ottawa on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. followed by reception.
