Dolores Margaret King

1931-2024

With sadness, we announce the death of Dolores Margaret King on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.  Dolores was predeceased by her husband and friend for over 68 years, Earl King, in 2017.  Loving mother of Nancy (Bernard Ashe), Peter (Jennifer) and Michael.  Cherished grandmother of Lauren Ashe (Scott Pellow), Christine Ashe (Marc Bourbonnais), Anthony Ashe (Robbi Daley), Damon (Morgan Brown), Zoe, Connor and Scout, and great-grandmother to Louisa, Josephine, Juliet and Callum.

Dolores loved life and laughter, her family and friends, her job at the Nepean Public Library, bridge, golfing, skiing and Florida. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. On behalf of Dolores, her family thanks the staff and caregivers at Hazeldean Gardens in Stittsville. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations to the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
