Diane Eleanor Brooks Muralt

At May Court Hospice on Sunday March 8th, 2026, at the age of 82; after a fourteen-month courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. Beloved wife of Larry Sevigny for over 46 years.

She is survived by her bother Douglas and her 2 children, David (Andi) and Steven as well as her two grandchildren Darryl (Sarah) and Virginia. Predeceased by her parents Reginald & Doreen Brooks.

Diane was born in Saint John N.B. on September 23, 1943. She attended the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Kingston, Ontario.

Health issues forced her to change her career path. She had a long and distinguished career at Statistics Canada, in the Health Statistics Field as an information officer, where she was able to utilize her medical knowledge.

A special word of thanks to all medical professionals who interacted with Diane or myself in the past year. We were both impressed by their expertise and compassion.

A funeral service will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road on Saturday March 28th, 2026, at 1:00 P.M.
