Diane Kathleen Boyle, age 94, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026, in Ottawa, surrounded by her loving family with the sun on her face.
Born on January 15, 1932, in Iroquois Falls, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Towsley and Kathleen Ginn.
Mom moved to Ottawa to pursue her career, graduating from the University of Ottawa in 1953 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Following her graduation, she began a long and distinguished career as a head nurse at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, a profession she served with the utmost compassion and integrity.
She is survived by her children, David (Inge), Donna, Doug (Sharon), 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren of whom she was so proud. She was predeceased by her husbands, Ray McMullen (2024) and Don Boyle (1992).
Good-Bye Mom, you will be missed.
A private family service will be held to honor her memory.
