Cyril Jenkins

Peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in his 92^nd year.  Beloved husband of the late Jessie (Storie).  Dear father of Michael (Jodi Colpitts), and Doug (Janet Boyd).  Loving grandfather of Matthew, Katelyn and Jenna.   Predeceased by his sisters June (White) and Margaret (Belbin).  Survived by many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his career in technology, Dad was a hardworking, hobby carpenter. Much of his spare time was spent in his workshop crafting wooden treasures such as rocking horses, model boats and hope chests that have become enduring family heirlooms. Although he lived in his self-built house in Manotick for the better part of 60 years, Twillingate, NL, will always be considered his “never forgotten”, precious home.  

Special thanks to the caring staff at Southbridge Kemptville, and the many Island View Drive guardian angels that kept a watchful eye during his later years. 

Funeral service will be held at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Rogers Stevens Dr., Kars on Wednesday, February 7^th at 1 pm.  Interment at Rideauvale Cemetery will occur in the spring.  Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Dementia Society at https://dementiahelp.ca/ways-to-give/ways-to-donate/donate-today/
