Carolyn Margaret Davidson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn Margaret Davidson on June 20, 2025, in Ottawa, Ontario, at the age of 47.

Born on July 27, 1977, in Belleville, Carolyn was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her beloved husband, Christopher Ross; her daughter, Ryley; and her son, Sam.

Carolyn also leaves behind her dear mother, Candy; her brother, John (Alison); her in-laws, John and Dona; her brother-in-laws, Paul (Stina) and David (Anna); her stepsister, Joanne (Norm); and her stepbrother, Paul (Alanna)

She was a proud and loving aunt to Kaylee, Andrew, Charlotte, Oscar, Ben, Wren, Theo, Felix, Bodhi, and Ashton. Carolyn’s family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into every relationship she nurtured.

She had a remarkable ability to bring people together, and her warmth, kindness, and laughter touched everyone who knew her. Her passion for nurturing relationships and creating lasting memories with friends and family was the heart of her life. These friends were instrumental throughout her life journey.

She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her love of camp, and the joy she brought into the lives of friends. Carolyn’s legacy lives on in the love she gave and the lives she shaped.

A Celebration will be held to honor her life at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carolyn’s memory to The Ottawa Hospital, whose care and compassion meant so much to her and her family.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
