Carole Ann Damiano

Carole passed away peacefully after a brief stay in hospital.

Mother, grandmother, gardener, crafter, and foodie, Carole loved a good practical joke and pampering her treasured pets, especially Max, who will rest with her.

Born in Montreal, Carole remained close with the Park Extension group and fondly remembered her childhood times with friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lisa McGee and Allen McGee (Marissa), and her grandchildren, Jessica McGee (Michael Szaulis), Coleman Canton, Hunter McGee, and Zoe McGee.

Predeceased by her former husband, Robert (Bob) Damiano. Fondly remembered by her friend and former husband, Dennis McGee.

She will also be deeply missed by her sister, Deanna Tooke (predeceased by Leslie), her niece Tracy and family, and many friends in the Jackson Court community where she lived for more than three decades since 1972.

Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 6–8 p.m. A memorial service, followed by a reception, will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their compassionate care in her final days, especially nurse Thi. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be welcomed.
