Carol Colford

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the age of 75. She passed away at home surrounded by her immediate family and dogs. She is greatly missed by her loving husband Fred, of 51 years, two daughters Michelle and Stephanie (Kris); cherished grandchildren Coco and Dempsey; sisters-in-law Cathy (Pierre), Bev (Richard) and brother-in-law Gary (Elaine).

She is also survived by nieces Jessie, Mandy; nephews Shawn, Michael; and cousins Rick, Gary and Chris. She was pre-deceased by her loving parents Douglas and Sylvia Smethers, as well as her Aunt Pat and Uncle Rudy.

Carol had a laugh that would light up every room, and her great sense of humor would be remembered by many of her friends and relatives. Carol was a lover of animals (adopting many rescue dogs), and mother earth, blessed with a green thumb, spending countless hours in the garden at home. She was a kind and generous soul who always saw the good in everything and everyone. She is dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

The Family also wishes to extend special thanks to the many support teams and individuals who were the angels of care during this difficult period.
