With great sadness we announce the passing of Carmela Zupo (nee Arnone), who passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 25, 2024 at the age of 99 years.
Born in Celico, Cosenza, Italy on December 1, 1924.
Predeceased by her loving husband Carmine Zupo, her sister Benedetta (Giuseppe) and her brother Peppino (Irene). Devoted mother of Alfonso, Anna-Maria, and Francesco. Will be remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many extended family and friends in both Canada and Italy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Tubman Funeral Homes- Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road (Between Baseline and Bayshore) with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00pm in the chapel. Reception to follow from 1:00pm to 2:30pm.
Internment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery at 3:00pm.
