Peacefully at Forest Hill on February 28, 2014 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Linda (Owens). Loving father of Stephen (Debra), the late Dwayne and the late Shelley. Cherished grandfather of Krista and Simon. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Esther Johns. Son-in-law of Lilly and the late Charles Owens. Dear brother of the late Gary, Darcy (Elaine), David, Robert (Joanne), Terry (the late Carol), Nancy (Don), Karen (Ron), Barbara (Lloyd) and Sandra. Also survived by brother-in-laws Tom (Diane), Jim (Sylvia) and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd (between Baseline and Bayshore Dr) on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Richmond, ON on Wednesday, March 5 at 1 p.m. Burial to take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John’s Anglican Church 67 Fowler Street, Richmond, ON K0A 2Z0 would be appreciated.
