Triemstra – Bouke “Bert”

Feb. 6, 1936 – March 21, 2019

Peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2019.  Bert Triemstra, former Mason and member of the Kiwanis Club.  Beloved husband of the late Jean.  Proud father of Caroline (Bernie), Maggie, Robert, and Janet.  Grandfather and great grandfather of many.  Survived by his siblings John (Jane), Bill (Mary), Harry (Helen), Lewis (Carol) and Mark and Gert.  Predeceased by his two sisters Helen and Titi.  He’ll be remembered by several nieces and nephews.  A special thanks to Dina and Eric for being there.  Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd., Ottawa, on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 5 – 9 pm.  A memorial service will be held later in the spring.
