Beverley Bryan

Bev passed away peacefully at her home on December 5th at the age of 79.

Dear wife and best friend for 55 years to her late husband Ron, mother to Tom (Jane), Janice and Linda. Grandmother to Jason, Alyssa, Nicholas, Erica, Ricky and Mitchell. Great-grandmother to Olivia, Evan, Junior, Rosa, Alex, Victoria, Caleb and Quinn. Bev is also survived by her brother Dan (Darene) and Ron’s siblings Sheila (Mike), Jim and Kevin. She is predeceased by her parents William and Annie, her brother Jack and brothers-in-law Ricky and Michael.

For more than 20 years, Bev worked at The Civic Hospital in switchboard communications. She loved reading mysteries, all kinds of puzzles, baking, streaming her favourite shows, kittens, soccer, and all things related to the Royal Family. She also enjoyed travelling throughout North America on the back of Ron’s motorcycle and their many trips to England. More recently, Bev was enjoying getting to know her new Westboro neighbourhood, with many adventures on OC Transpo.

A gathering to honour Bev’s life will be held in the new year. For those wishing to honour Bev, a donation to the Ottawa Humane Society would be most appreciated.
