Bernard Anthony "Tony" Cauley

Bernard Anthony (“Tony”) Cauley passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. Born on February 5th, 1931, in Toledo, ON, Tony was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Cecilia Cauley, and his siblings, Roger, Jordan, Joseph, Frank, Stan, and Mary. Tony was the beloved husband of his loving wife, Grace for over 70 years. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, and compassion. Tony will be lovingly remembered by his children: Julia, Rosemary (Paul), Denise (Chris), Michael (Lisa), and Sharon. He was a proud Poppa to twelve grandchildren, and a Great Poppa to eleven great-grandchildren and counting. A faithful member of the Catholic Community, in which he was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus, attaining the distinction of Fourth Degree Knight. He was a loving member of the Fr. J.L. Reynolds assembly and an honorary member of Canon John Burke Knights of Columbus Council #6217, Ottawa. Tony was a volunteer driver for Ottawa West Senior Support Services.

Tony will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00. A funeral service will be held at St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2340 Baseline Road on Tuesday, June 9 at 11:00. Reception to follow. 

Interment at a later date.
