Antonius Theodorus Franciscus Jetten

Anthony was born in the Netherlands, the fifth of seven children. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Marie “Jose”, son Mark (Shannon) and son Eric (Brandy) as well as his sister Els. A beloved Opa, he will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Melissa, Sara, Ryan, Colin, Samuel and Benjamin as well as his step-granddaughters Brooke Johnson Wierikko and Dawne Johnson Phirbny. Anthony was predeceased by his first wife Denise Caouette and second wife Hannah Jones, as well as his brothers Edward, Frank, Charles and John and his sister Ria.

Anthony joined his brothers Frank and Charles in Canada in 1954 and had a number of careers, including mining surveyor, bush pilot, computer programmer and stockbroker. He was an avid cribbage and bridge player and greatly enjoyed dancing. He organized bridge games at his retirement residence and was always eager to teach it to new players.

A private family service will be held on August 22.
