Ann Trunley

TRUNLEY, Ann - Passed away peacefully at home on February 4th, 2023. Ann was born on November 16, 1940, to Kathleen (Kitt) and William (Bill) Goodman of Gosport, England. Our family emigrated to Canada in 1972 and settled in Ottawa. She is survived by her husband Laurence, children Paul (Iris Zhu) and Lesley, and grandchildren Isla, Georgia, and Violet. Ann had a career with Scotia Bank for 20 plus years and always had a love of travelling, so much so she went back to school in later years to receive her travel agent license. Although she didn't work in that field, after retiring, she used her knowledge to plan many wonderful trips with her husband including India, China, and Africa to name a few. Ann loved her family, being active with aqua fit and daily walks. She loved to read and keep up with the news and celebrity gossip. Ann was known to have a warm and caring nature which she shared with her family, friends, and customers at the Queensway Carleton Hospital where she volunteered. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 2:30-4:00 p.m. Memorial donations in memory of Ann may be made to the Humane Society S.P.A.
