Ann Mccooeye

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Ann Janet McCooeye (nee Stevenson) who passed away peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, February 18, 2022, after a long battle with health issues. Predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Elroy McCooeye. Dear mother of Amy McEwing (Dave), Tracy Hindle (Ralph) of Calgary, and Tim McCooeye (Brenda) of Carleton Place. Loving Grandma of Mandy Hindle (Toronto), Crystal McEwing (Ron Barrett), Emily Davis (Jon), Nicholas McEwing (Amanda), Aiden and Conall McCooeye, and Great Grandma of Ace and Mira. Ann is survived by her loving sister Barbara Martin, brothers Donald (Marion), David, Ted (Joanne), Ed (Diane), sisters-in-law Marlene (Kay) and Linda Stevenson (Larry) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John “Jack” and Daisy Stevenson, brothers Larry and Kay, brother-in-law James Martin and sister-in-law Linda (David).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann’s honor can be made to the CNIB or Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes  and cremation has taken place.  A private interment will take place in Spring of 2022 at Huntley Presbyterian Cemetery.
