Angus Bernard "Bernie" Macdonald

Angus Bernard “Bernie” MacDonald, aged 64, passed away on December 2, 2022, in Ottawa, Ontario. Bernie was born on February 4, 1958, to parents Donald Bernard “Sam” MacDonald and Mary Helene (née Searson). He is survived by his son Nathan (Gillian Fournier), and granddaughters, Eloise and Blythe. He will also be greatly missed by his brother Jeff (Inès Guy), sister Robyn (Richard Kuzell), nephews Lee (Camille Latreille) and Philip, and niece Sarah. Cremation has taken place and the family will gather for a celebration of life. Interment will occur at St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery, Corkery, Ontario.

Bernie’s family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the ICU, Trauma, and Palliative Care teams at the Ottawa Civic Hospital who provided consistent and compassionate care in his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memoriam to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
