Allen from a young age had an entrepreneurial nature and worked in many jobs from a young age. He was driven to succeed. He worked for 30 years at The Ottawa Citizen as a Linotype Operator. They travelled extensively and were passionate in their service and commitment to the communities in need. They shared many adventures around the world. They loved to be at their beloved home on Mississippi Lake, many delicious meals were enjoyed from the wood stove. Allen and Peggie were married for 44 years.
