Alastair Oram

It is with deep sadness that we announce Alastair Oram passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2024. 

Alastair was a devoted husband to Nancy Oram and proud father of Alan (Melanie). 

Born in Scotland, Alastair immigrated to Canada in 1960 with his new wife Nancy. He chose Ottawa to call home and begin his new family. Alastair had a long and distinguished career with General Dynamics. Apart from his work, his passions included fishing, gardening, bird watching and stamp collecting. 

Alastair will be lovingly remembered for his sharp mind, humour and devotion to his family and friends. 

In keeping with Alastair’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private service for immediate family only has been held.
