Passed away at home on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the tender age of 10.  Loving son of Steven Artese and Kathryn Slater.  Cheeky (and loving) little brother of Kaia Stewart. Cherished grandson of Judy Fagan-Cornell, Lyanne St. George’s  (Gilbert)  Much loved nephew of Andrew Slater and Allison Cornell. Fondly remembered by his many caregivers (special mention to Maria and Evette), teachers and friends (a.k.a. his Centennial family) and his extended family.  A memorial service will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 2 p.m.  To attend the memorial service, pre-registration is mandatory and can be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com/obituary/Sawyer-Artese or by calling 613-722-6559. Proof of vaccination and photo ID are also required for the memorial service .  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either SMA Canada or CHEO.
