Passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family on Friday, May 12, 2023 in his 96th year. Predeceased by Evelyn, his beloved wife of 73 years. Loving father of Ivan (Alanna) and Brian (Jackie). Proud grandfather of the late Julia, Jennifer, Jamie (Chris), Terrilyn, Tammy (Rolly), Tina (Serge), Jeff (Sylvie) and Trish. Great-Grandfather of Nicole, Tyler, Alyssa, Jarett, Rachel, Amanda, Megan, Noah, Ryann, Ella, Felix, Ana, Theodore, Felipe, Hugo and Bastian.

Predeceased by his siblings Charlie (Pearl), Lloyd (Maureen), Bessie (Bill), Bill (Viola), Margaret, Pearl (John) and Ruby (Edward) Latimer.  Predeceased by his daughters-in-law Martha and Heather Latimer.

Forrest’s family wishes to extend their gratitude and appreciation to all of the staff at Granite Ridge for the amazing quality of care that they provided to Forrest during his time there.

Friends and family may visit at the Carp Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11am.  Burial will take place at Huntley United Cemetery.  Tributes, condolences, and donations may be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com
