It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ruth Anna Rodgers on May 3, 2019 with her loving family by her side at the age of 70. Ruth is survived by her soulmate, road trip partner and partner in life Barry Moss. She is the much loved and adored mother of Donald (Julie), Candice (Khalil), Nathan (Angela), the late Jason, Candice (Jason), Andrew (Caitlin), and their father Donny.

Ruth was a nurturing, dedicated and caring mother. She treasured her children and showered them with love and understanding. She especially loved her role as nanny to Dillon, Kelsey, Hayley, Mercedes, Canaan, Meadow, Karam, Marnie and Prezley. Great grandmother to Blaze.

Ruth will be dearly missed by her sisters Jessica and Jennifer (Larry) and her brothers Michael (Claire) and Kirk. She is predeceased by her parents Ruth and Tony and her siblings Charles, Earl, Tony, Benny and Terry. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, large extended family and numerous friends.

Ruth was a well respected Phlebotomist with CML Healthcare for 25 years. She was a beautiful spirit with a warm heart and a selfless love of others. She had a remarkable zest for life and vivacious personality which allowed her to make lifelong friends everywhere she went. She is an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

Visitation will take place at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd., Ottawa on Friday, May 10th, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May 11th, 2019 at 11 a.m.
