Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday January 13, 2021 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Wright. Loving mother of Linda Wright, Kathy Zapallow (Patrick) and Peggy Wright. Proud grandmother of Donald, Kathleen, Daniel, Christopher, Karen and Carly. Great-grandmother of Oren, Coco, Willa, Sage, Brooke and Brianne. Dear sister of the late Helen and David Baker.

Marion was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where she met and married the love of her life in 1951.  They were together until his passing in 2015.  Family camping trips when her children were young were a summer staple.  In retirement, they enjoyed their RV in Florida, watching baseball games and were patrons of the Orpheus Theatre, but their greatest joy was spending time with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She wrote poetry and knit generously for family, friends and hats for the preemies at the Queensway Carleton Hospital.  She volunteered many years with the Girl Guides as a Leader and Camp Commissioner.  She had a huge heart and will be greatly missed.

A private family service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 1 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the service can be viewed at  www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com/obituary/Marion-Wright. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Interment will be held in the spring in Morrisburg.
