Falleció en Ottawa el día 30 de octubre de 2019 a los 89 años de edad.

Con el amor de sus hijos José Ricardo (Susana) y Blanca Miriam; sus hermanas María Julia y Elena del Carmen; sus cuatro nietos; y demás familia.

El velorio será el viernes 1 de noviembre de 2019 de 7:00 pm a 9:00 pm en la funeraria Tubman (403 Richmond Rd.).

La misa de cuerpo presente será el sábado 2 de noviembre de 2019 a las 2:00 pm en la iglesia Sagrada Familia (153 Glenora St.).

Mamá, fuistes el mejor ejemplo para tus hijos y estarás en mi mente y en mi corazón por siempre.

Died peacefully on Wednesday, October 30th, 2019 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital at the age of 89.  Toñita was predeceased by her loving mother Nicolasa Rivas, nephew Marco Antonio Rivas and sister Marina Isabel Rivas.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Jose Ricardo Rivas (Susana) and Blanca Miriam Tancredi; fondly remembered by her four grandchildren; and sadly, missed by her two sisters and extended family.

Visitation will be held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd, Ottawa (at Richmond and Roosevelt) on Friday, November 1st, 2019 from 7-9 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be hed at Sagrada Familia Parish, 152 Glenora St, Ottawa on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2 p.m.  Reception to follow.
