Laurie Carol Coady (nee White)

Peacefully at home on Tuesday August 13, 2019, surrounded by her family, after a courageous 11-year battle with breast cancer.  Loving wife and life partner of 39 years to Bernard Coady. Amazing mother to daughters Melissa (Ken Simonsen) and Jessica.  Cherished daughter of Doug and the late Greta White and daughter-in-law of Theresa and the late Anthony Coady.  Laurie was the middle sibling of Debby Knight and Kevin White. Much loved sister-in-law of Ann Boyd (Wilson), Billy (Glenda), Diane Bowden (Eddie), Theresa Pierce (Clifford), Dan (Sharon), Walter, Monica Ceschia (Giorgio), Leo (Laura), Bernadette Robinson (David) and Richard (Patti).  Aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Godmother of Ashley Coady, Brandon Homer and Derrick Manship. Special aunt of Hannah Tourangeau, and her mom Melissa Bernicky.  She will be dearly missed by many friends and extended family.  Friends may call at the Carp Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, 115 Rivington St., Carp, on Friday from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm.  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Celestine Church, 139 Renfrew St., Pakenham, on Saturday at 11 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arnprior & District Humane Society, the Wild Bird Care Center, or a charity of your choosing.
