Geddis, Hetty (Henrietta)

Born September 20th, 1926 in Lurgan, Co.Armagh, Northern Ireland .  Peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.  Beloved wife of the late Jim Geddis.  Loving mother of Maurice (Susan), the late Jim, Tom (Norma), Cathy Coghlan (Peter), Paul (Jane), Colin (Kelly), and Heather Ireland (Len).  Adored grandmother of Holly, Blake, Norman, Philip, Jenny, Amanda, Lukas, Hannah, the late Colin Jr., Chase, Curtis, and Lydia.  Great-grandmother to Ella, Brynn, and Colton.  Survived by her loving sister Edna and predeceased by twelve loving siblings in Northern Ireland.  She will also be missed by many relatives in Northern Ireland.  Special thanks to the caring staff at Peter D. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt on Friday, February 28th, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 470 Roosevelt Avenue on Saturday, February 29th, 2020 at 11 a.m.  Reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNIB or a charity of your choice.  Condolences, tributes and donations may be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com
