Henry "Harry" Brouse

BROUSE, Henry (Harry) John

Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the age of 90 years, after a lengthy illness due to Alzheimer’s disease.  Beloved husband of the late Beverley (Bev) Brouse (d. 2008).  Dear father of Steve, Cathy (Michael), Nancy, Lisa (Wayne), David (Jasmine).  Cherished grandfather of Lindsay, Byron, Courtney, Jennifer, Alex, Barry, Anne-Marie, Jennifer, Sean, Amanda, Brock, Derick and Tyler and great grandfather to Paige, Claire, Rhys and Stella.  Dear brother of Margaret and Diane and brother-in-law of Dianne.  Predeceased by his brother Robert.  Harry had a long career in business in the Ottawa area as an investor in commercial properties and the trading of Securities under Brouse Holdings Inc.  Harry had a passion for exercise, canoeing and boating and was a member and instructor with the Canadian Power Squadron.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.) on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, March 4, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.
