Doreen Edna Peck

May 1935 – November 2020

It is with deep sadness that we are announcing the passing of our devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother on Friday November 6, 2020.

Doreen was born in Alywin, QC to the late David & Vera (nee McClelland) Peck. Beloved wife of the late Francis Charles Peck of Cawood, QC.  Loving mother of Leeann (David) O’Reilly, Penelope (Clifford) Ritchie and Bruce (Sheri) Peck. She will be remembered with much love by her 4 Grandchildren, Mandy, Jennifer, Elaine and Lisa and 7 Great Grandchildren, Bridgette, Annalise, Kiera, Cassidy, Raelynn, Georgia and Lyric. She will be fondly remembered by her remaining sister Sylvia Baldwin and brother Steven Peck along with her Sister-in-laws, Margaret, Jean, Margaret, Joanne and Gail and Brother In Law Cecil Crites and so many, many nieces and nephews that were very special to her as well.  Family was everything!

Doreen comes from a family of 16 siblings which unfortunately most of them are deceased.  Brothers were Leonard, Gordon, Gerald, Raymond, Allan, Mervin, Barry and Sisters Greeta, Betty, Velma, Malena, Gail and Baby Sandra

Mom’s heart was always up the Gatineau Valley and Pontiac from Wakefield to Danford Lake and all the surrounding areas.  This is where she was her happiest and now is finally going home to REST.

At our Mom’s request, in lieu of flowers, donation to CHEO or the Heart & Stroke Foundation be greatly appreciated!

Due to COVID and it limitations, service will be held at the graveside only at the Holy Trinity Cemetery on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. in Danford Lake, QC.
