Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Terrie Lynne Robinson on July 2, 2026, following a courageous and hard-fought medical battle. Throughout her journey, Terrie faced every challenge with remarkable strength, determination, and grace, inspiring those around her with her resilience and unwavering spirit.

Terrie was the beloved daughter of Lynn Robinson and the late Karl Robinson; cherished sister of Christine Robinson and Jason Robinson (Jaime); and proud and devoted aunt to Liam and Caitlin, who brought immeasurable joy and pride to her life. Family was at the heart of everything Terrie did, and she treasured the time spent with those she loved. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Milo, whose constant companionship brought her comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.

For 35 years, Terrie dedicated her career to The Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus, serving in a variety of roles and becoming a familiar and friendly presence to colleagues, patients, and visitors alike. She took great pride in her work and formed lifelong friendships along the way. Terrie will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and strong work ethic, as well as her ability to brighten a room with her smile and make others feel welcomed and valued.

Whether spending time with family, enjoying the company of friends, or embracing the things that brought her happiness, Terrie lived with a caring heart and a genuine appreciation for life's simple joys. Her quiet strength, compassion, and sense of humour left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Terrie’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 18, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Tubman Funeral Homes – Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa, ON K2H 8H7. Following the Celebration of Life, family and friends are welcome to gather for a reception at her brother’s home. Directions and address information will be available at the Celebration of Life or please contact the family for details.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Terrie’s memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Liver Canada would be sincerely appreciated.

Terrie will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of her family, friends, colleagues, and all whose lives she touched.
