It is with immense sadness that we share the tragic passing of Sheldon David Brousseau on Wednesday, September 9th. Gone way too soon at 23, Sheldon is survived by his parents, his adoring mother and stepmom, Jennifer and Krystal Cameron and his loving father and stepmother Adam and Joanna Brousseau. He leaves to grieve his brother, best friend, and partner in crime, Nicholas Brousseau, his little sister Sarah, and His Person, Dallas Etmanskie. He was loved by so many including his grandparents Doug and Donna Brousseau, David and Kathy Cameron (pre-deceased), beloved Uncle Matt and Aunt Catherine (Katie) and treasured Uncle Mike and Tante Cano (Caroline). In addition to many friends and acquaintances, he had awesome cousins in his corner, Derek Wells, Carson and Bradley Cameron and Olivia and Ava Brousseau which he would often spend time laughing with.

Sheldon loved his family fiercely. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, caring for animals, and tinkering on his new boat, The Sheldinghy. Sheldon was a huge hockey fan. Growing up as part of the Osgoode-Rideau Senators and an avid Sens Army fan. He graduated from St. Joseph High School (class of 2021), dedicated his service through Air Cadet Squadron 742, and pursued mechanical endeavours as a passion. Much like fixing machinery, Sheldon used his life tools daily by being bright, positive, and always full of love and laughter.

The family invites all of Sheldon's friends and colleagues to share in a Celebration of Life which will be held on Saturday, September 26th from 1-4 pm at Tubman Funeral Homes 3440 Richmond Rd. Nepean (by the Queensway Hospital). A private, intimate memorial service will be held at one of his most cherished places on earth, the Brousseau cottage at a future date.
