It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved San. Passed away peacefully at home, with her husband by her side, on January 23, 2026, at the age of 50.

Leaving to mourn, with the most precious memories are her adoring, loving husband Fonce and her four treasured stepchildren Aidan, Jacob, Sarah and Isaiah, who she was so proud of and adored beyond measure.

Also leaving to mourn, her mother Josephina, father Max, sister Alyssa, nephews Dominic (Annabelle) and Cristian (Jollie), Mother-in-law Rita, Father-in-law Gerald, Brother-in-law Gerry (Tammy), Sister-in-law Geraldine (Jordan), along with many other friends, family and students.

Her students, who lovingly referred to her as "Teacher San," loved her and messaged her often over the years. Her love and passion for music was instilled in them and will be carried in their hearts forever.

San was such a beautiful soul, loving and kind to everyone she met. No matter what the circumstance, her smile and laughter lit up the room. Despite enduring some hardships and illness throughout her life, she always maintained a positive attitude and a zeal for life that was contagious to everyone around her. She had a resonant belly laugh so infectious that it warmed every heart, filling them and every corner of the room with joy. Though our precious San left us far too soon, in the little time she had she touched all of our hearts with enough love to last a lifetime and beautiful memories that we will never forget.

Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean on Sunday, February 1st, 2026, from 12:30 pm until the time of Memorial Service at 1:30 pm. Reception to follow.
