Our beautiful mother, Margaret "Peggy" Burbidge b.12/20/1933, d.07/16/2026. After a struggle with heart disease and colon cancer ...she is now at peace.

Peggy loved her hometown of Ottawa, born to Fred Burbidge and Jean (Yetts) Burbidge in 1933, the second child of five. She moved to Detroit in 1955 to work, and there, she met her husband, William, and raised three children: Alan, Nancy and Dean. She eventually returned to her hometown of Ottawa and enjoyed 30 more wonderful years before passing last Thursday.

We will remember her laugh and her wit, her "go with the flow" attitude. Peggy spent decades of her life dedicated to genealogy and piecing together the Burbidge and Yetts family trees, as well as the connected families.

Peggy adored her grandchildren, Stephanie (Paul), Benjamin, and Hannah.

A Celebration of Life takes place next weekend, Friday July 24th, 3pm at Valley Stream Retirement Home in Ottawa.
