It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Jerome at Southbridge Nursing Home in Kemptville, ON. He was surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with Dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
Beloved husband of Susan Brennan and (Betty-Anne David, deceased). Born in Temiscaming, PQ to the late Elie Brazeau and Veronica Sammon.
Jerome is survived by his son David (Lori), his daughter Cindy Tinga (Ron) and step-son Jeremy Collins (Julie). Forever remembered by his grandchildren Connor (Ramona), Lindsay and step-grandson Lucas Collins (Brooke). Jerome also leaves behind his sister-in-law Lynda (Bob) Emerson and his lifelong friend and brother-in-law Eric Nixon (Claudette David, deceased). His niece Donna Nixon and nephew Grant Nixon.
Jerome was a quiet and kind gentleman who loved nature, skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking and painting. He especially loved being with his close friends John Meadows and Larry Engel. He spent his quiet time playing his guitar and gardening.
Jerome’s steady presence, dry humour, warmth and loyalty will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In accordance with Jerome’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
