Ingrida Aina (Mikelsons) Litavniks , Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, at the age of 90, passed away in Almonte Ontario on Feb 10, 2026.

Ingrida was born on Sept 15, 1935 in Riga, Latvia to parents Lina (Baite) Traulins and Edgars Mikelsons.

She met and married Anatols Litavniks in London Ontario. They moved to Simcoe, Ontario where they spent many happy years raising their 3 children. After the passing of the Love of her Life she spent time between Ottawa and Andover, Kansas helping raise her grandchildren. She settled for a time in Kanata Ontario before moving into the wonderful, caring, retirement home of OrchardView Gardens in Almonte Ontario.

Ingrida was preceded in death by Anatols Litavniks.

Ingrida is Survived by her children- Helga Arija Connor (Chris) in Ottawa. Diana Aime Litavniks in Mill Bay, BC. Andris Edgars Litavniks (Linda) in Andover, Kansas.

Her six grandchildren- Sarah Stipkala, Karlina Connor, Lija Connor, Andrija Connor (Andrew), Kylie Litavniks and Victorija Litavniks.

Her four great-grandchildren – Kyron, Kennedy, Axel and AJ.

Ingrida is also survived by her sister Arija Zelie (Henriks) of Denver, Colorado.

Ingrida’s funeral service will be held on March 4, 2026, 12pm at Christ Risen Lutheran Church, 85 Leacock Drive, Kanata, Ontario. The Church will open at 11:15am before the service. A light luncheon will be served after.

Internment will be at Woodland Cemetery in London, Ontario.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
