(Helen) Frances Bleeks

July 22, 1943 - March 9, 2026

The daughter of the late Norbert and Dolly (Hazel) (nee Brennan) McCarthy. 

Wife of 62 years to Wendell Everett Bleeks.

Mother to Lonny (Jennifer) Bleeks, Wendy (Mike) Nichols, Stacy (Catherine) Bleeks and Kerry (Peter) McKenna.

She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Amanda, Victoria (Darren), Jessica (Taylor), Katie, Robert (Denise), Heaven (Jeff), Anna, Francina, Teddy, Alice, Rafi, Madison (Davis), Cody, Fraser, Rowan, and Quinn. 

She was a proud great-grandmother to Everett, McKenna, Abigail, Declan, Ryan, along with several other great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Sister to Elizabeth Atkins and Claire Leach. 

Predeceased by her sisters, Patricia Monuk and Maureen Leach.

She will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Tubman Funeral Homes – Garden Chapel (3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa, ON) Friday, March 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A second visitation will take place on Saturday, March 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Fallowfield Chapel), followed by the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, CNIB or Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.
