It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ella Sowa (nee Curran) on August 21, 2026, at the age of 97.

Predeceased by her husband Stan Sowa, Ella was the beloved mother of David (Lynn), Roy (Wendy), Karen Renaud (Paul), and was predeceased by her son Mark.

She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren James Sowa, Michael Renaud, and Mark Renaud.

Ella will also be fondly remembered by her siblings Bernice (Ron), Charlie (Diane), and Wincey (Gerry) and predeceased siblings Rita, Ray, Al, and Earl.

Ella will be deeply missed by her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
