Edward John Welch

September 13, 1935 – February 10, 2026

On Tuesday, February 10th, Ed passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was the loving husband of 51 years to the late Barbara Welch (née Bodsworth). Cherished father to Wendy (Duncan), Lisa (Richard), and Lori (Mark); beloved Papa to Cristian, Holden, Charlotte, Evie, and Molly; and adored “fur papa” to Pepper, Teddy, and Max.Ed will be deeply missed by his sister, Pat Dumas, and by his sisters‑in‑law and brothers‑in‑law Nancy (Rick) and Neville (Lois). He will also be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at a later date.
