Bernice Heath

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Bernice Heath announces her peaceful passing in Ottawa, Ontario, on August 26, 2026.

Bernice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ford Heath; her parents, Joshua and Marjorie Winsor; her parents-in-law, Alexander and Selina Heath; her infant siblings (twins, boy and girl); her sisters, Velma Drown and Betty Matthews; her brother, Lloyd Winsor; and her brother-in-law, Steve Drown.

Left to mourn are her children, Shane Heath and Tracy Price; her grandchildren, Joshua Price and Cameron Price; her siblings, Merle (Roy) Fudge, Wycliffe (Bev) Winsor, and Ken Winsor; her brother-in-law, Melvin Matthews; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews

Bernice will be remembered for the love she had for her family and for the countless lives she touched throughout her life. Through her career as a teacher and her work as a Salvation Army missionary overseas, she shared her compassion, faith, and care with people in ways and places that may never fully be known. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A service will be conducted by Captain Laura van Schaick at Tubman Funeral Homes Garden Chapel on August 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
