Peacefully in her sleep at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Wednesday March 30, 2011. Predeceased by her loving husband Joe Copeman. Beloved mother of Janice, Bruce (Jane Kessler), Donald (Nicole Aubertin), Sandra (Ron Richard), Neil (Karen Burns), Elizabeth Goodyer, and the late Lori. Passed away unexpectedly on March 31st at the age of 64 years, leaving to grieve his loving wife Margo Dewar, his devoted children Lesley Malcolm (Steve), Howard Collins III (Pam) and Jennifer Coulombe (Neil). Poppa will be greatly missed by grandchildren Mercedes “Cedes” and Kyra Visser, Ashleigh Coulombe and Mackenzie, Kassidie and Anthony Collins. Howard is survived by his mother Edith Collins, living in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and his sisters Margaret Windsor (Robert) of Carbonear, Newfoundland, Lynne Crews (Lew) of Bouteliers Point, Nova Scotia and Rhonda Barfitt (Warick) of Shannonville, Ontario. Uncle Howard will be missed also by his many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Howard Collins Sr. Howard moved from Atlantic Canada to Ottawa as a political and then energy reporter with Canadian Press in 1974. From there, Howard joined Eldorado Nuclear as Director of Communications. He joined the Brewers Association of Canada in 1983. When he retired from the Association in 2007, he held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Howard was on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Foundation on Fetal Alcohol Research and was an active member of the Trinity Bible Church in Osgoode, Ontario. Passed away peacefully in her 93rd year, at Park Place Retirement Residence. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Osterhout. Loving mother of Robert (Donna). Born in Bonavista, Newfoundland, Vivian was the daughter of Dr. Chesley Alexander Forbes and Irene (née Matthews). She “came to Canada” in 1941 to join the Royal Canadian Air Force and served until the end of the war. Predeceased by her brothers, Clive and Lloyd, and sister Kathleen Deir.
