My deepest sympathy, Judy. Even though our acquaintance was intermittent, I always enjoyed meeting you two. The conversation was always stimulating. I'm hoisting a glass to Bill and to you. Unfortunately, it's not an Italian wine tonight. I wish you the very best in your grief, and in your life afterwards.

Hi Judy, I just wanted to pass along my deepest sympathies. I always enjoyed seeing the two of you come into the unit - it was very clear what a true team you were and the incredible support you gave to him. Try to take comfort in all the wonderful memories and love you had together - no one can take those away. Please take care of yourself. Thinking of you. Cheri Lumsden RN (CTU-IGFCC).

Dear Judy, Tony and I were very saddened to learn of Bill's sudden passing. I was privileged to have worked with Bill for about 10 years before he retired. He was fun loving with a quirky sense of humour and a passion for IP law but above all, he loved being with you. With our deepest sympathy and condolences for you and your family, Janet and Tony.

So very sorry Judy to hear that Bill has gone. I too have good memories of both of you and the B R crowd. Likely Bill and Maurice are somewhere "starting to relax" with a heavenly glass or two.

Dear Judy: Leslie and I were very sad to hear of Bill's passing. We have many great memories of lunches and dinners with you and him at INTA meetings. It was always a high point of these events. We all admired Bill. He was a great lawyer, a proud Canadian, a fine friend and a true gentleman. He also had a great sense of humor. Our lives have been enriched by knowing you both. One of our early U.S. presidents once said, "In the end its not the years in your life that count, its the life in your years." Love Mike and Leslie

Dear Judy, It has been many years since we worked together and since Bill, you, Christine and I ventured to New Zealand, from Sydney, for 3 weeks in a camper van. How sad and tragic to hear the news that Bill has passed away at such an early time of life when further adventures were ahead for you both. We know that Australia held a special place for the two of you, as with us, and that the desire of you and Bill to travel and embrace this planet is yet another reminder that, when we go, we should only regret the things we did in life, not the things we did not do. He set many a good example in this regard. The thoughts of Christine and I are with you at this difficult time. Doug

Dear Judy Jim and I are saddened to hear of Bill's death. We had many links with you both, starting with our shared Miramichi roots. Great memories from days at the firm, the ski trips and get togethers, and later on golf with Bill at the Rivermead. Your many memories and wonderful friends will sustain you at this time and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
