Dear Frank and family, It was with great sadness that we heard of Una's passing. We worked, laughed, played and worshiped with Una on many occasions at CCBC over the years. We had great admiration for her dedication to the church as she brought so many skills to the work she did there in so many different areas. We are so sorry that we shall be unable to attend the service on Friday, but our thoughts and prayers will be with you all. God Bless, Pam and Brian Sarjeant.

To Frank and family, It was sad to hear of Una's death. As a member of CCBC I remember Una so well as she performed so many tasks there; treasurer, caterer, quilt maker, craft maker etc. etc. She did everything with competence and intelligence but also with dry humour and wit and compassion. I would suggest she did not "accept fools gladly". I regret I am unable to attend the funeral but please accept my condolences and be sure she will be well remembered. Caroline

Frank, Carol, Barbara, Heather and Kathryn: We are saddened to learn of Una's passing. She was a wonderful lady, sincere, caring and thoughtful. We had a wonderful friend. We moved to 7 Parkland Crescent, across the street from you, in 1971 and remember Kathryn riding a tricycle. We had two children, David and Lori-Ann, who thought the Spillers were great. Una knit each one of them a lovely warm sweater. We remember Frank walking to and from the bus stop to travel to his job at CRTC. Time goes by so quickly. We are sure you have so many fond memories of Una to cherish forever. With sympathy, Gerry and Trudy Stephen

Sending deepest condolences to all of the Spillers on this sad occasion. Una was such a dear friend of both of my parents and I have many fond memories of her wry humour, the sparkle in her eye as she teased one or all of us, and the delight my parents took in time spent with both Una and Frank: at their respective homes, at the cottage and on my excursions and longer trips. She has a special place in Spearey family lore and will be missed terribly. Wishing you strength at this difficult time.
