Born on December 22nd, 1925, died peacefully in the early morning of November 19th, 2017 at the age of 91. Survived by her husband Francis (Frank), daughters Carol Young, Barbara Morningstar, Heather and Kathryn Drouin (Mario) and several nieces and nephews.  Loving grandmother to Kaitlyn and Erika Young, Owen and Kyla Drouin.  Predeceased by brothers Huey, Hector, Maldwin and sister Myfanwy.

Una was born and raised in Ottawa.  She attended Lisgar Collegiate.  She met Frank at a church dance on Elgin Street and married him in St. John the Evangelist.  Una and Frank celebrated their 62nd year of marriage in October.

As a congregant of Christ Church Bells Corners she was Secretary/Treasurer, an Altar Guild member, catering volunteer and helped with the Christmas Creations table for the annual Bazaar for many years.

She was an avid quilter and bridge player.  A devoted wife, mother and friend who will be missed.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the dedicated caregivers at Granite Ridge over the last 9 ½ years while she struggled with Alzheimer’s.
