Tracy, from helping me with my Grade 10 math, staying with me when my parents went on trips, being a bridesmaid at my wedding and always inviting me to a day at the beach, movie or breakfast at the "last minute" .... I will miss you terribly and hold you in my heart forever. I'm proud to have you as a guardian angel.

I remember helping out in her grade 2 classroom at Queen Mary PS when I was a little girl. She used to work with my mother so I got to know her very well. She was very sweet and very funny! I am deeply saddened to hear that this happened to her. She was a great woman who loved to help people.

Tracy has left an imprint on all of our hearts that will forever be with us. The world is a lot less brighter, less happy, less loyal. May you shine over us always and keep us in line - just like you did on the soccer pitch. Rest in peace my dear, dear friend. My deepest condolences to the family.

I will always have such incredible memories of working with Tracy and making each other laugh so hard it hurt.. She truly gave her all in everything she did. I loved hearing about the kids, both family and at school, and her commitment to teaching and helping others never fell short of blowing me away. Tracy was a sparkle and I am so blessed to have spent time with her. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and school community.

My heart is heavy and my head is in turmoil. But I can hear your voice clearly and see your face (hand gestures included) as though you are standing in front of me. I will try to find comfort in the many precious memories (soccer games, tournaments, and end-of-season parties, golf, social events...). I'm certain you knew the lyrics to every Meat Loaf song. I always think of you whenever I hear one. Deepest sympathy to your family, colleagues, students and many friends. Thank you for taking care of us! Tip it Up, Pour it In, That's the Way We're Going to Win! I will "KEEP" you in my heart, until we meet again. Soccer Sue

I was very saddened to hear of Tracy's sudden passing. I knew her to be the consummate team player: devoted to her family, dedicated to her profession, and loyal to her friends. She was so genuine, gregarious, and generous. I treasure the memories of our time together, as friends and colleagues, at Queen Mary Street Public School. My heartfelt condolences to all who knew and loved her. Many will miss her.

Words cannot describe the emptiness that myself and my family feel today at the loss of such a wonderful friend, educator and support line. Tracy was a great teacher, but a wonderful support to me in my personal life. She was always there for me and for my children through the hard times and the joys of seeing my children grow up. I have known Tracy for over 20 years and have valued our friendship since the first day I met her. , Rest in peace knowing that so many people loved you for your bubbly personality, generosity, kindness and open spirit! You will never be forgotten!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Ms. O'Shaughnessy. She was the teacher of two of my grandchildren; Jacob Runnalls and Kelsie Taylor. I am sure she will be remembered and missed by her students and her "school family". I am sure her contribution to the many students she has helped to shape over the years will always be cherished. My condolences to her family and all those who will miss her.

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to Tracy’s family. As it is evident from everyone’s comments, she clearly touched the lives of so many. Ottawa is often referred to as a town of six-degrees-of-separation. My husband and I would joke that Tracy brought that down to two degrees. We would always bump into people who would say “we share a common friend, Tracy”. We were fortunate to have Tracy in our lives as a young growing family where her positivity and her warm, caring nature would brighten up our household even on the craziest of days. Just plain old hanging out was always an absolute pleasure. I only wish we had more time together. We will forever miss you Tracy.

Tracy was an amazing person. Her smile, her ability to tell it like it was, her caring attitude. She was like our Mother Hen. She cared for staff and students alike. She would bring us smoothies, make treats (her famous "crack" treats), sit and listen,or just exclaim "Work with me people!". We went on road trips, concerts, lunches, TGIF's, dog walks. She was the one to get us going. Tracy, my friend, you will be sadly missed. Valerie Carew Roch Carrier

You will be so missed that I do not not where to begin. Who on earth is going to keep your soccer girls in line? Encourage us? Lead us? You were a positive force in the backdrop of so many people's lives. You always had a kind word and were so selfless and generous. A true tell-it-like-it-is soul and kindred spirit. I will cherish not only our years of soccer memories, but our chats, check-ins, golf, concerts and movies. I loved you. And yes, I will take the goal kick. Rest In Peace. Heather N
