Sonia will always be remembered for her kind and caring heart. I will never forget the years she was like a mother to me during a very difficult time in my life. Undoubtedly she has been one of the greatest positive influences in my life. I will always cherish the many happy memories at her Toronto home. My condolences, my prayers are with you Ann and your family. Sonia will always be missed.

My sincere condolences for the loss of your Mom. A little tidbit.... both your Mom and Dad were witnesses at the civil wedding in England for my parents Herbert and Elena Kolaric. In fact, it was my Father Herbert who introduced your Father Karl to your Mother Sonia, thus starting their 60+ years of friendship. I remember many years of celebrations that both our families enjoyed. She will always be remembered fondly.

Sonia is an amazing person who touched my life and the life of my son. She was a dedicated friend who helped us from the second day we arrived to Canada. She was generous, kind and full of humour. She always thought more of others than herself. She was smart, knew several languages and quickly made friends. Her life was full of hardships but she was optimistic and always helped other people. I will always miss her in my life.

I am very sorry for your loss and hope you find comfort knowing that your mom is no longer in pain. Sonia was a long time friend with my parents, Herb and Elena, and now has joined them in the after life. I am sure they are having a drink together and are celebrating their reunion.

The loss of a loved one, especially a beloved mother, leaves a void in our hearts that only time and memories can heal. Myself and my family share in your sorrow and know that you have treasured memories of Mama Sonia. I feel blessed to have known her and I will always remember her sweetness and kindness.
