Words alone cannot express my level of shock, confusion, and sadness about Shawn's passing. Shawn was not only a colleague, but a mentor who taught me a lot about technology, working in the corporate world, and life overall. Contagious laughter, quick wit, and beaming sense of humour were only a few of his notable trademarks. He'll always be remembered fondly. My sincere condolences and sympathies go out to Shawn's loved ones.

Having worked sitting next to Shawn for a while I can tell you I will forever miss that laugh, the humour and the quick comments which could be followed by a long explanation if it was looked for. Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of Shawn. I worked with Shawn for many years and will always remember him as such a professional, a leader and mentor for his colleagues. I am proud to have had the good fortune to know him and will never forget his dedication, good nature, sense of humour and contagious laugh. He will be sadly missed.
