Dear Tom and Family, We feel the sea breezes and warm sunshine when we think of Ruth. We associate Ruth with Hawaii's best for not only did we meet both of you there, but it was evident that you embodied Hawaii's spirit and charm. We are completely and deeply saddened at Ruth's passing. We know Emma and Shayla hold dear their special time with Grandma Ruth those final days. When we visited before you left for Vancouver, we experienced Ruth's courageous spirit step forth to face the challenges, and you were right beside her. We wish you the comfort and support needed to gather the strength for the days ahead. With deep respect, Reed and Donna Harlow

Dear Tom and family - I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Ruth's passing. We worked together at Nortel, and in the last few years she brought Star to my shop for grooming. Ruth was a wonderful lady with a terrific sense of humour, and I know she will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.

Aloha Ruth, there are no words flowing right now..... as you know, you have been in my dreams these past few nights and I wish Tom and the kids comfort & strength as they prepare for this time of separation from you. Hopefully they know you are also with other loved ones, that have been called up before you, until you all, one day meet again, may they feel comfort from each other. Until we see you again, much ALOHA, Joan
